Lajver Merlot is made from handpicked and carefully selected grapes. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentations, it was aged for 12 months partly in 500-liter Hungarian oak barrels. The result is a wine with pronounced oaky notes, ripe red berries, a hint of chocolate and bay leaf. Medium body with medium acidity and supple tannins.
