Szamorodni is one of the most famous wine categories of Tokaj. The word ’szamorodni’ is Polish for ’as it has grown’. It contains 50% of botritised aszúberries and 50% of healthy berries, which gives a special character to the wine. Opulent fruit blossom on the nose that is followed by apricot, honey, nut, vanilla and pleasant bitterness on the palate.
Food pairing: Recommended with cakes, desserts, sweet & sour foods, poultry dishes. Serve at 10-12˚C.
