Late Harvest is an important category for Tokaj today. For the production of its late harvest wines Tokaj-Hétszőlő mostly uses shrivelled berries with no botrytis. The aim is to keep the wine fresh and fruity and easy to drink. This wine comes from the Tokaj-Hétszőlő Imperial Estate which dates from the Hétszőlő Single Vineyard dating from 1502.
The grapes were carefully selected by hand, from loess soil, which gives charm and elegance to the wine.
