Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos Nagyszőlő 1er Cru, 2017

It was in 1567 that the name „Nagyszőlő” single vineyard was first mentioned in written documents. A prestigious vineyard, bits of which used to belong to royal and imperial families. The name Nagyszőlő indicates the great size and the grape quality of the vineyard. The soil contains dacite and thick loess which play an important role in the elegant style of this wine. In outstanding vintages the aszú wines from our first class parcels are selected and vinified separately. This wine was fermented and aged in oak barrels for two years. It matches well with Asian food, foie gras and fruity desserts.
