Oh deer, 2018

Our “Rare Peak” wine from the 2018 vintage. This is a very late harvested vineyard selection Riesling. The wine has performed brilliantly from the start. The nose is vibrant and dynamic, the palate has it all, laser focus, thick dried fruit character and a long and pure finish. This is a stylish, you might even say classic Riesling, with a very long life ahead. Ideally, this wine should be kept in the cellar for another 5 years before drinking, and it will continue to grow in appeal for at least 10 years after that. Oh deer Riesling was awarded the second best volcanic wine by the Hungarian wine magazine VinCE.
