Bikavér (’Bull’s Blood’) is the trademark blend of the Szekszárd region. The blend has to follow strict regulations – it has to contain at least 4 different varieties with at least 45% of Kékfrankos and 5% of Kadarka. It has to be aged for at least 12 months in oak barrels. Lajver Bikavér is full of elegance with ripe red fruits, black cherry, hibiscus flower and sweet spices. Mid-long persistence, balanced acidity and smooth tannins. Bottled in the authentic Szekszárd Bottle – the regional trademark of quality.
