Syrah has been grown from the beginning on one of our most important plots in the Hajnóczy vineyard. The warmer, loess and marly soil brings out the best in the variety. A lively, spicy, pale coloured and attractive wine. Gently destemmed whole berries were placed in an open vat, where fermentation began spontaneously and was completed in used barrels. Unfiltered and unfined, bottled with low sulphur. It has an ageing potential of 8+ years.
