It is serious and dignified, even though it’s on the lighter side. It retains its Somló character in a fresh style, with bitter almond, green apple and citrus fruit in addition to its mineral, rocky-salty character on the nose. It has a characteristic taste, with a firm minerality on the palate, ripe acids and citrus fruit in the background, and a fresh and pleasant finish.

This is the most famous and exciting grape variety of the Somló wine region, it can show great diversity depending on the ripeness of the grapes and the style of winemaking, but always retains its seriousness. An exciting, versatile wine that can be served with a Caesar salad, pike-perch fillet or light chicken dishes.
